The time to take action is now. According to the UN Climate Panel IPCC, we have only until 2030 to halve our CO2 emissions in order to have a chance of reaching the ambition of limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees. Every kg / CO2 we reduce emissions by the next 10 years will make a difference.

Over time, taking small steps to lower your carbon footprint forges the general habit of behaving in a climate-friendly way. 

That is why you begin in our app with a personal 30 day climate challenge to save CO2. A personal 30-day climate challenge for example is: "I will only take a shower for 15 minutes. Choose the climate challenge that suits you and try to develop a new climate-friendly habit in the next 30 days. Research shows that it takes an average of 30 days for a person to develop a new habit.

You can keep track of how many kg / CO2 you save in connection with your climate challenge. We use the latest international research to calculate how many kg / CO2 the various climate challenges contribute. The app also constantly calculates how many percent you have reduced your annual carbon footprint by.

We use an average carbon footprint for the country you choose under personal settings, but you can also set your own figure in kg / CO2 if you have had it calculated.

You can also continually compare yourself to the average app users CO2 savings and see how you compare to them.

We reward you with gold stars every time you meet your climate challenge. The number of gold stars determines which user-level you are in our app.

In the app, you can also continuously monitor how many kg / CO2 all app users combined have reduce global CO2 emissions by forming new habits. Together we can make a difference.

Its easy to update whether youre meeting your climate challenge with a Yes or No in the app itself or via our smart widget, which means you dont have to open the app to quickly update your challenge.

If you need a reminder every now and then, you can easily get it. You can get an overview on your performance on a weekly and monthly basis. You can see your progress and how many days in a row you have lived up to your challenge, as well as how many gold stars you have earned. You can see your current streak and longest streak associated with your challenge.

If you have lived up to your 30 day climate challenge and developed a new climate friendly habit you can choose to adopt it in the app and continue to measure your CO2 savings and earn more gold stars.

The app also includes global Climate News to make it easier for you to stay up to date on important climate issues. You can watch relevant climate videos from around the world that we have selected and continuously follow selected global climate experts comments on the climate crisis.

The app requires a subscription to use all of the apps features. Climate news and the community section of the app are free for everyone.
